I have signed up with Paypal and have 2 accounts set up: A credit card for which I use when I’m buying something with Paypal and a debit card for verifing my account. I just sold something on EBAY so which account will the money be sent to?

I want to send a small amount of money to Ukraine as a birthday present.

I’ve already explored these options:
Western Union (rip off)
Visa or Mastercard Gift card (It doesn’ have a PIN and anyone can use it … same as cash …mail is unsafe for cash over there … another drawback is it can only be used for purchases not for ATM cash)
American Express gift check (until recipient signs top and bottom, anyone can use it same as cash)
Visa Buxx OK but takes weeks to set up and is costly.

I’m really looking for someone who has a tried-and-true solution that they have already used.
thanks ohmslaw I don’t want to do bank to bank transfer because it’s a surprise gift and I’d let the surprise out if I asked for bank details…maybe the hidden cash will work.

even if Paypal is not valid in Ukraine (I think it is not)…maybe I can set her account up here and send her the debit card. I’ve used my debit card there!

I listed an ad on Myspace about 2 weeks ago and i was selling my canon s2is. Well a couple days after that some guy thats in the united kingdom added me and said hed buy it from me, i gave him a reasonable price and he told me he would send me a money order. Right now i still have not gotten the moneyorder and a couple minutes ago i asked him to send the money by paypal and he said okay but now hes backing out and trying to send a money order. He hasn’t asked me to send the camera before i get his money but then again he wont pay by paypal either. Do you think im being scammed?
