Think I got scammed? – Purchase on Ebay?

I recently bought a sidekick 2 off of ebay, maybe about 2 days ago. Anyways, before buying the product, i looked at the guys details and comments. From all his buyers, he has 100% positive feedback. In overall, he has a 95.3% feedback. I trusted him completely, but the problem is that i’ve been sending him emails for the past 2 days, and he hasn’t returned any of them. It doesn’t look like he speaks good english, so he may be foreign. Anyways, do you think i got scammed. Think i got scammed? I doubt it, but the fact that he’s not replying to any of my emails is very fishy (The day before i bought the product, I was asking him questions and he replied instantly). already sent him the money, but it was from paypal. It may be easy to recover.

Can I do anything about an eBayer other than negative feedback?

I won an auction Mon. night. I paid through Paypal; the $ was taken from my bank acct on Tues. Paypal showed the $ was “uncleared” and expected to clear on Thurs. Thurs. afternoon they emailed me saying the payment cleared(after I’d emailed them twice asking why it was taking so long) and would ship within 24 hours.
The auction page stated the buyer would get the item within 2-5 business days. Fri. I got an email saying it’d been shipped, but when I use the tracking #, it only shows that they told USPS there was a package to pick up. It doesn’t show as having been picked up yet. Technically there is only Monday for my package to arrive within the time stated on the sellers page.
Is there anything I can do? They have not responded to any of my emails, and only send the ‘form’ emails saying payment recd, it’s been shipped, etc.
I feel they should have shipped it priority to make up for lost time on their part since I did everything I could to assure promptness.

Should Ebay buyers boycott Ebay?

I purchased an item on Ebay, but never got the item as described. I know this happens on Ebay more than Ebay is willing to admit, but my real problem is Ebay ‘s unclear and unknown policy towards seller misconduct. It seems that sellers can lie, cheat, and steal from buyers on Ebay as long as their feedback rating remains high.In my case, PayPal and Ebay should have suspected the seller was involved in misconduct. Within 8-10 hours of me faxing a police report to PayPal, I got a full refund. I asked Ebay to take some kind of action against the seller.
At first, I was told by Ebay Customer Support that no actions could be taken because the seller’s actions did not fall within Ebay’s regulations on seller misconduct.
I kept hounding Customer Support and Ebay’s Trust and Safety Department and was told some type of action would be taken against the seller. Ebay thus far will not tell any policy on seller misconduct. A boycott is needed because Ebay buyers need to know a clear policy.

The problem is not rare. It mostly likely occurs everday, but is not reported
I guess it is eaiser for some to just avoid the fact that Ebay does not have a clear policy on seller/buyer misconduct. I asked for it several time, but I have yet to be given the policy.
I challange anyone to post Ebay’s policy. The sellers seem to have an advandage because Ebay is not intetested in lowering profit margins. How does anyone know for sure if the buyers are more of a problem?
I suggested a boycott, but that is not the only way to get Ebay to change. I think a direct connection should be made between PayPal claims and punishment for sellers/buyers.

bought a cd from ebay, never received?

I bought a CD from ebay and it’s been over a month and haven’t received it, they had 100% feedback when I bought it but now they have around 38% from numerous buyers like me saying they couldn’t contact and never received. I filed a complaint with paypal and they went in my favor but that person doesn’t have any funds in their account right now. So how can I get my money back?

Are those one cent guitars on ebay any good?

I can’t imagine that they would be, but it seems that people purchase them and leave good feedback. I think I know the trick: they charge ridiculous amounts for Shipping & Handling to make up for the low auction price. Just wanted other people’s thoughts on the matter.

What is the best way to automatically return feedback on eBay when you recieve feedback – I would prefer a FREE one.
eBay themself have a service to do it but it costs £4.99 a month, Andale have a FREE one but seem to require a credit card.
