I just recently sold my first item on eBay and I accept PayPal payment only. I always see people’s auctions with “will send payment upon payment CLEARING.” How exactly do I know if the payment has cleared? Is it by looking at paypal.com and seeing that under STATUS for the transaction it says “Completed”? Does that mean it has cleared? I received an e-mail from PayPal that says “Notificiation of an Instant payment received.” Does that mean it has cleared as well.

For future reference, does my PayPal balance as seen on home page of PayPal indicate ALL CLEARED FUNDS?

I would like to try Ebay’s auctions sometime. However, I am quite cautious on my account info being compromised (in other words, I send out some kind of personal information, and somebody uses it for some “unknown” purpose, you know, identity theft or some such.) What is the safest way to send money if I win an auction, or if I buy the item? Is it personal check? Paypal?(Whatever that means) Or something else? Please respond!

I opened a store on E-Bay and I thought that infant girl clothing was great to sell but my auctions aren’t getting bid on. What other items are good to sell?

My friend and I sell things on ebay but we have 2 different user accounts. We live at different addresses. Is it possible if we share the same paypal account? Like he sells stuff and does paypal only auctions on ebay. Can I sell stuff and have it be put in his paypal account or do I have to make my own?

Seller has not responded to requests for invoices. I tryed to send money but his or her address isn’t registard with paypal. I think that this person might be scamming people. I will not send money without communication with the seller.
