Does Yahoo! have a Spoof address?
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
My husband just received an email supposedly from Chase Bank saying that someone was trying to activate an account in his name.He sometimes gets these things claiming to be Ebay or Paypal & we just usually forward them to Spoof@Ebay Or Spoof@paypal.Does Yahoo have one? I did forward the email to Spoof@yahoo,but i’m not sure it went through.I figured if it works for the other two,it may work for yahoo. Is there a different spoof address for Yahoo? Thank You for Answering & Be Blessed!
That’s what i was hoping for, because that is where i sent it.Like i said,i fugured if it worked for Ebay & Paypal,it may work for Yahoo. Thanks for sharing !
Spoof email are emails you receive from people claiming to be companies that usually say you need to update your infirmation or that there has been strange activity in your account.Never click on any link in your emails.Just go to your website.
Sorry about that,i meant their website.
Thank You Jane Furrows!! Be Blessed!
I sent the spoof mail to the email addy that Jane Furrows suggested & it went to them because i received a confirmation letter saying they would look into it.Thank You & Be Blessed!

If someone is impersonating Yahoo! then try mail-spoof@cc.yahoo-inc.com
Here’s a link from their help pages about it:

Anything sent to yahoo.com does not go to yahoo. That way customers can tell the difference. The yahoo corporate domain is yahoo-inc.com. If you want to find out the address just call them at 1-408-349-1572 opt. 2 opt 2. They will be glad to provide the address for you.
