why isnt it considered money laundering?

If an immigrant sends money home to mexico they are not charged taxes on it even though a man can send 5000.00 american dollars home via western union without tax then he can pick up that same amount the next day and be free of all taxes isnt that a form of laundering???

No do you even know what money laundering is? It’s his own money why should you be taxed on something you probably already paid taxes on. thats stupid to even think that. And i resent the word immigrant cause I was born here but i send money to family in Europe does that make me an immigrant?

Nope, sounds more like form of Tax Evasion to me. Laundering money is taken money earned through illegal enterprise (drug dealing etc.) and making it appear as though it came from a legitimate source, which usually involves paying taxes on it at some point.
