www.ceepackaging.com http www.youtube.com If you are a small business person you probably think that you have got far more important things to do than to listen to me rabbiting on for 18 minutes. In 99% of cases I agree – you have much better things to do with your time. This time however, listening to me for 18 minutes could save you not only a lot of hassle but a huge amount of money. In some cases it could even save your house and life savings. The unfortunate thing is that by the time …

I can help any of you get a real merchantaccount. I had to sue Paypal in 2004 for $6000. They feel that they can keep your money for up to 180 days even if they just think there is foul play from you or YOUR BUYER!

More than two years later and I still do not know why they held back my money.

Can you pls explain the details of taking them to court and what’s involved. Did you get awarded costs ?

    Regards Rol

So you think that a bank putting a hold on an account because you were trying to access it from overseas is unusual? Trying to open two accounts? Wanting to verify your identity… does this sound crazy or does it sound like a global online banking and money transfer system making sure someone isn’t trying to rinse your bank and credit cards… ?

  • alanheath says:

    1. Yes, I do.
    2. Dont understand your question.
    3. Identity needs to be verified yes. But not by demanding the illegal supply of documents (such as photocopies of passports).

My point is that they should have returned the money to the account from whence it came. They were holding my money and not passing it onto the supplier.

  • alanheath says:

    I am not a lawyer.
You must warn Paypal that you will sue them and then see a lawyer. If it goes to court you should get costs.
BUT ensure that you have something to sue for first. It is most probable that Paypal has this tied up and is not breaking the terms of the agreement. They are ripping of tens of millions every day don’t forget – they know what they are doing.

    Mistake # 5

Never call pay pal if you are not in USA. they will charge 50 dollars for 20 minutes. I got so angry when i saw my telephone bill.

They explained me some simple question in 20 minutes.HOW COME??? the guy put me on hold like 50000 times.

By the way when you call them, they said this: it is a local number from paypal.

    WTF!!!

  • NaughtyNick92 says:

Hey quick question, the money that gets frozen is only the money in your paypal account, the “Paypal Balance”. Or Is it Everything linked to PayPal like your bank account and credit cards. I know i may sound stupid but just wondering because i just opened a paypal account.

  • tracy10UT says:

    Yikes!

  • alanheath says:

They cannot take money from related accounts – just everything you have in your paypal account.

This vid is way too long & boring, you could’ve said what you wanted to say in half that time. Plus with echo in the room, it’s hard to hear. Will search for a better & more helpful anti paypal video. Btw, what’s your experience with google checkout, are they any better?

  • rastiskawina says:

Why do people still bother with pay pal? Everyone knows it is a rip off!

  • gixer1109 says:

Paypal have a new talk site, google paypal lets talk.

  • alanheath says:

Dont know anything about google checkout.

Scammers = The #1 reason I dont buy or sell on eBay.

With 2,900 positive feedbacks, that’s saying alot. I’ve been off eBay for 17 months now and sell exclusively in my local market on Craigslist, cash on delivery only.

Clist rocks and I dont have to put up with any more PayPal/eBay/IRS account-dipping, legal loopholes, payment withholding, account lockups, hacked information and lack of fucking support.

I hope PayPal & Ebay burns in HELL, its owners are arrested, found guilty and jailed.
